Ghanaian reggae and Kuchoko musician Blakk Rasta, has praised President Mahama for the leadership style during his second term in office.
In an interview with Popular Event host Kafui Dey, on Tuesday, March 17,2026 he admitted that he had criticized President John Mahama in his first tenure of office.
"Honestly, when I was growing up, I was told that angels had wings, this is the first time I'm seeing an Angel without wings, and that's President Mahama.
"To be very honest with you I criticized him, in his first tenure, and they have come to realize that I criticize them not to destroy them," Blakk Rasta asserted.
He reiterated that, considering everything criticism, he views President Mahama as a gentleman, who would choose to listen and weigh options.
"I said alot of things about Mahama and he is a gentleman so he will listen; does it carry weight, does he want to react or does he want it to go," he said.
