Four officials of Bill's Microfinance have been arrested assaulting a customer over delayed loan repayment.
The suspects comprised of Dennis Wornyo, aged 38; Albert Amarh, aged 40; Ebenezer Amartei, aged 23; and Atsu Lawson, aged 27.
According to the Police, Madam Hagar Emaser, the victim, aged 42, was allegedly assaulted whiles the officials visited her residence to demand repayment.
The Service stated that, the suspects are currently in custody assisting with investigations.
The Accra Regional Police Command advised persons with grievances relating to loan transactions or other civil matters to seek lawful and peaceful means of resolution further cautioning victims of assault and any other criminal acts should report such incidents to the police for immediate investigation.
