The National Service Authority has extended their emergency gazette service in Ashanti Region. They announced the extension in a statement released on the 12th of October, 2025.
In the statement, NSA revealed that the emergency gazette service will be available in their regional office in Kumasi.
This comes after the same service was successfully launched at the NSA Head Office in Accra. The service is set to start operating on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
The gazette service expedites the process of publishing modifications or revisions to private information such as names and dates of birth, which are frequently necessary for national service registration and deployment.
The NSA claims that the extension to Kumasi is a component of a larger national plan to decentralize important services in order to better serve graduates across the country.
"This development forms part of the Authority's broader plan to decentralise gazette services nationwide, ensuring that graduates across the country have convenient access to this vital service," said the press release.
The NSA restated its commitment to providing efficient, user-friendly, and creative solutions that improve Ghanaian graduates' national service experiences.
The public was also reassured that there are plans for other regional expansions, with specifics to be announced later.
