Burniton Music Group Announces New Date For BHIM Festival

The Burniton Music Group (BMG) and the BHIM Festival Secretariat have announced a new date for the 10th edition of the annual BHIM Festival. The popular event will now take place on December 24, 2025, instead of December 26, 2025.

The organizers said the festival will still be held at the Accra Sports Stadium. They explained that the change was made to give fans a better and safer experience during the celebration.

According to the statement from BMG, the new date was chosen to improve important arrangements for the show. These include better security, traffic control, crowd management, and coordination with national safety agencies.

BMG added that they are working closely with the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana National Fire Service. The aim is to make sure all participants can enjoy the event without fear or difficulty.

The group also mentioned that the decision was not taken lightly. They said it came after another major event, “Taste the Culture,” which is organized by the Black Star Experience, changed its date to December 26.

This new date created a clash between the two events. The organizers felt that hosting both on the same day would cause congestion and confusion around the venue.

BMG said even though the decision has some financial effects, it was necessary to maintain order and ensure public safety. They believe it is better to avoid problems than to face them during the festive season.

The management also expressed gratitude to the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA). They said the GTA helped facilitate the date change and supported them in securing the stadium despite the tight December schedule.

According to the organizers, December is a busy period for entertainment activities in Ghana. Many events take place under the “December in GH” program, which attracts both locals and tourists.

The statement added that BMG and the BHIM Festival Secretariat want to promote peace and cooperation within the creative industry. They encouraged other event planners to work together rather than compete for the same dates and venues.

“We believe this decision shows our commitment to harmony in the entertainment industry,” the statement said. It continued that supporting one another will help the creative sector grow stronger and more united.

The organizers also apologized to fans for any inconvenience caused by the new date. They assured that all tickets bought for the festival are still valid.

The same tickets can be used by fans without any issues at the specified redemption locations. BMG pledged to make the tenth anniversary a memorable occasion for all.

They said the festival will deliver another exciting and unforgettable night filled with great performances. Ghanaian artists and cultural acts will perform to entertain and inspire the crowd.

The event will also celebrate Ghana’s rich music and culture. BMG said they are working hard to make sure everything runs smoothly and safely.

The BHIM Festival has grown over the years into one of Ghana’s biggest entertainment events. It continues to bring fans together in love, unity, and celebration of African music.
