12 Injured In Collision On The Kpeve- Asikuma Road


A rear-end collision involving a sprinter bus and a petrol tanker left 12 passengers, including a 5-month-old baby, injured.

‎In a statement released by the Ghana National Fire service (GNFS) the accident occurred at Agbate on the Kpeve-Asikuma road on March 18, 2026.

‎According to the service, the Sprinter, carrying 12 passengers, sustained extensive rear damage, but miraculously, no fatalities were reported, noting that All 12 passengers have been transported to Peki Government Hospital for medical care.

‎Rescuers from Peki Fire Station, led by LFM Prosper Klo, arrived promptly and deployed extrication machinery to aid the rescue mission.

‎The District Fire Officer, ADOI Godwin Gbedemah, provided technical support, and the rapid response of GNFS personnel ensured all passengers were rescued safely.
