Four Injured In Collision In Cape Coast, Kotokuraba


‎Four people have been injured in a car accident that occurred at Kotokuraba in Cape Coast on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

‎According to a statement from the Service, the incident involved a Toyota Echo taxi with registration number GW 5934-14, and a Samsung Yamouzine truck with registration number CR 487-18.

‎It noted that, the accident was caused by a suspected brake failure on the truck,which damaged the taxi and partially damaged the truck's engine.


‎The Ghana National Fire Service, stated that, fire personnel from the Metropolitan Fire Station in Cape Coast recieved a distress call at 10:28 a.m and responded promptly to the accident.

‎Upon arrival, the rescue team found four injured people, comprising of three males and one female, who were conveyed to Cape Coast Teaching Hospital and Ewim Poly Clinic.

‎The fire personnel cleared the debris and moved the vehicles to ease traffic, after rescuing the victims.

‎The Ghana National Fire Service pledged it's commitment to promote safety awareness and respond to emergencies in the region.
